Desoldering
The large white filter in the HAKKO desoldering station (PN: A5020) is made from cellulose filter paper. This filter is used only as a backup filter to catch flux residue and prevent it from entering the vacuum pump components in the desoldering station. It does not need to be heat resistant like the smaller filters that are used in the handpieces.
