When using a Hakko FM-2023 with a Hakko FM-202, the intermittent tips can cause the following errors to appear:
- '--1' - When the display shows this error, it means that the software registers the sensor temperature of the tip as too high.
- '--2' - When the display shows this error, it means that the software registers that the sensor has failed.
These are not common errors to see. If these errors appear, you should replace your tips and see if the errors are seen again. If the error re-appears, contact our Customer Service Department and request an RMA to return the unit to us for evaluation. Please be sure to return the FM-202, FM-2023 Handpiece, and the tips that were in use at the time.
