To perform a factory reset on the HAKKO FX-951 Soldering Station, insert the lockout key card and turn the power switch ON while simultaneously holding the UP, DOWN, and ASTERISK (*) buttons.
The HAKKO FX-951 Soldering Station will display '5 F' for North American defaults, or '5 C' for Asian defaults. You can switch between the two values simply by pressing the UP or DOWN buttons.
After you have made your selection, press the ASTERISK(*) button and the factory default reset will be completed.
