If the DPC Touch v2 controller stops responding, the issue may be that the screen calibration has been lost. In order to recalibrate the controller, please use the following steps below.
- Update the controller to the most current firmware
- Power OFF the controller and remove the SD card
- Create a folder in the root of the SD card named "update"
- Download the firmware file "DPCTouch_V2.02.2_20220829.bin" and copy it to the "update" folder
- Insert the SD card and power ON the controller
- Wait until the update progress shows 100% completed on the screen
- Power OFF the controller, remove the SD card, and delete the "update" folder
- Calibrate the screen
- Power OFF the controller and remove the SD card
- Create an empty text file named "cal.txt" in the root of the SD card
- Insert the SD card and power ON the controller
- The controller will automatically boot to the calibration screen
- When prompted, touch and hold the red dot on the screen with a finger or stylus
- Hold this until the counter on the screen counts up to at least 60 "ticks"
- Repeat the procedure for the second red dot shown in a different screen location
- The controller will now reboot normally
- Power OFF the controller, remove the SD card, and delete the "cal.txt" file
