Do the motor bearings on my HJ3100 fume extraction system require lubrication?

General FAQs
The rating of the motor at normal operating temperatures is approximately 55,000 hours on a single lubrication from the factory. During assembly the Permawick material around the bearings of the motor is lubricated using a non-detergent 20 weight oil . If the motor is running at higher temperatures than normal the lubrication in the Permawick will dry at a much faster rate than normal. Normally, no lubrication is necessary for the service life of the unit, however if you feel lubrication is needed, you may apply approximately 0.25cc of any non-detergent 20 weight lubricant to the lubrication ports of the motor as highlighted in the photo below.
