ESD Polyimide tape has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in original cartons at 21°C (70°F) and 50% relative humidity.

Proper storage of Polyimide tape will ensure best performance. Avoid exposure to ultraviolet radiation or to conditions of high humidity for extended periods of time. The storage life will decrease dramatically under these conditions.  Rolls should be kept wrapped in storage to prevent surface contamination.

ESD safe polyimide tape can be distinguished by its pink plastic core and should not be confused with the standard polyimide tape that is not ESD safe.  Standard polyimide tape has a shelf life of 36 months under the same storage conditions.
