Can I adjust the Hakko 375 Solder Feeder for a different diameter solder?

It is possible to make adjustments to the HAKKO 375 Solder Feeder system for specific wire solder diameters, however the process requires special tools and it is not recommended.
In order to make an adjustment:
Remove the feeder cover and safety guard
The solder pulley is mounted on an eccentric shaft. At the base of the pulley is a threaded opening. Insert a long threaded screw into this opening.
Using a long M4 hexagon wrench, insert the wrench into the hole at the bottom of the unit to loosen the securing screw for the eccentric shaft. If you cannot locate the securing screw, you will need to remove the entire cover from the unit
so
you can see the securing screw.
Once the securing screw has been loosened, you can use the long threaded screw to rotate the eccentric shaft. This will move the solder pulley position in relation to the cutting blade, allowing you to adjust for a different solder diameter size. While looking at the feed mechanism, rotating the eccentric shaft counter-clockwise moves the solder pulley away from the cutting blade, thereby reducing the depth of the cut, and rotating the eccentric shaft clockwise moves the solder pulley toward the cutting blade, thereby increasing the depth of the cut.
After the adjustment has been made, tighten the securing screw for the eccentric shaft.
Replace the covers and safety guard.
Run a sample of solder through the system and ensure that the v-groove cut into the solder reaches to the flux core. If it does not, you will need to repeat this process and rotate the eccentric shaft clockwise to increase the depth of the cut.
