Hakko in continually working to improve product performance when using lead-free solders.  Ongoing activites include:

• Providing stations with excellent thermal recovery, thus allowing soldering at the lowest possible temperature.
• Conducting tests and investigations to improve soldering techniques to be used with lead-free solder.
• Designing equipment to be compatible for use with lead-free solder
     (e.g., tinning tips and desoldering nozzles with a lead-free alloy).
• Educating users and others about the nature and characteristics of lead-free solder, and how to deal with them.
• Providing long lasting tips due to Hakko's superior iron plating on tips and nozzles.
