The Hakko 807 pencil-style handpiece (PN: C1091) cannot be used on a Hakko 470 Desoldering Tool due to differences in the temperature control electronics between the Hakko 470 and Hakko 472 Desoldering Tools.  As a result of this different, the pins on the plug for each handpiece is different and will not connect to the station.  The differences in technology also means that the plug cannot be 're-wired' to fit.
