All CHP electric screw drivers that use a brushless motor have been designed to function at least 2 million times before the tool should be inspected as the various internal moving parts are subject to wear over time. If the torque accuracy and function are normal, the driver can continue to be used. This value was determined by repeated testing of the driver design at maximum torque and RPM.
Note that the service life is directly related to the number of operations, both clockwise and counterclockwise, within the specified torque range for that driver, and not a function of time. Operating the driver above the designed torque range could result in premature wear and a shortened service life.
