To perform a factory reset on the HAKKO FR-810 or FR-810B Hot Air Rework Station, press and hold both UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously while turning the station on.
When this is completed successfully, the display will show a value of 'A' indicating that the unit will reset for Asian defaults and display in °C. Press the UP or DOWN button to change the value to 'U' for US defaults and display in °F. Press the asterisk '*' button to accept the value and the factory reset is complete.
NOTE: If the password lock feature has been turned on for the unit, you will be required to enter the password before you can execute a factory reset.
