The ceramic heating element for the Hakko FX-888/FX-888D (PN: A1560) is not interchangeable with the heating elements used in most other products. For example, the heating element that was used in the Hakko 936/936-ESD stations (PN: A1321) is a 50W/24V heater, while the newer heater is a 60W/26V heater.
When replacing the heating element in your Hakko unit, please make sure you are using the appropriate heating element.
