NOTE: This information applies to FS-100 manufactured before September 2014. The DOM format has been changed to numbers indicating manufacturing month and year on products September 2014 and forward.

The DOM (Date of Manufacture) for the Hakko FS-100 Tip Polishing Paste is marked on the bottom of each container using a 2 letter code.

The first letter corresponds to the production year. For example...

  • A equals years that end in 1
  • B equals years that end in 2
  • C equals years that end in 3

... and so on.

The second letter corresponds to the production month. For example...

  • A equals the month of January

  • C equals the month of March

... and so on.

NOTE: The letter 'I' is not used for either year or month marking due to readabiltiy issues.
