REACH, or Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals, is a set of standards for Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 of the EU Parliament and of the Council of December 18, 2006. The REACH regulation applies to all chemical substances on their own or in preparations as well as in products.

All HAKKO and CHP brand products and parts are in compliance with EC 1907/2006 , also known as the REACH Regulation, and have no Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) present exceeding the established threshold limits of .1%, as listed In  the latest candidate list published as of July 16, 2019 (201 substances)  provided by the European Chemicals Agengy (ECHA) and is available at
